The Joint Tajik _American British Venture Obi-Zulol is a pioneer project of European Bank of Reconstraction and Development in Tajikistan due to its participation in this project as a shareholder . Its large - scale and the form of participation has large demonstrational effect for Tajikistan . Huge reserve of ecological pure water is one of the basic resources of republic of Tajkistan . The importance of the Obi-Zulol plant for the development of Tajikistan on the basis of foreign investment was emphasized by the presence at ceremony of the opening of the plant the president of Tajikistan Emomali Reahmon ,vice -president of EBRD Mr Charls Frank , director of EBRD for Russia ,Belarus and Tajikistan Mr Ovseichik ,director of American fun many other distinguished guests .
The plant is located in 8 th km to the South of Istaravshan .Plant is equippted with the lardest modern high productive equipment of France ,Italy and Belgium . The capacity of the installed line is 15 000 bottles of 1.5 liter product per hour and 20 000 bottles of 0.5 liter product per hour .
Water Obi-Zulol is being extracted from deep wells which are located in the foothills of Shakhristan range . This fact has derermind the location of the plant .
Water Obi - Zulol has been granted the gold medal among 4000 producers of water on the 11-th Annual International Water Tasting USA ,Berkeley spring ,February ,22-25 ,2001.
