The central Hospital of Isfara town is the main health protector building in our City. There are many departments and sections. It is useful center for our people. Also we have Zumrad Sanatorium. Many people come to reinstate their health here. There are circular shower, pearly bath, treat by beeswax, dentists and so on. Every year people come here from many parts of Tajikistan and different countries.

Meet Isfara



Isfara is situated near the border junction of three states, Tajikistan, Kirghizstan and Uzbekistan, at height of 863m above sea level its territory is 832 sq. km. The populations are more than 238 thousand people of 40 nationalities. About 20 industrials companies of the town produce electric products, chemical and metallurgical products, building materials of food stuffs and others.
History of Isfara

ISFARA is one of the ancient towns in Central Asia; its first name was Asbara.The town was mentioned in the book of “Tabor History” (X century). In the XI- XIII centuries, it has developed in the field of economy. Barbour (1482 - 1530) named Isfara as a main town of the region. In the XVI century there had been developed the buildings of large houses (mosque, moderates). In the XVIII century Isfara was under the power of Kukand Kingdom.
