Congratulations! You were selected to participate in RI-SOL's Global Connections & Exchange Program trip to the United States this April! Because of your active involvement in your country’s GCEP, you displayed the skills and potential to continue to grow as an effective leader in your community. In this exchange you will participate in activities designed to develop your leadership skills - including such talents as decision-making and public speaking. We will place a particular emphasis on the role that technology can play in amplifying your voice to others in your community through combining advocay and innovations in technology. All of these activities are being developed with the goal of empowering you with the ability to impact social change!
Defining a Focus:
What matters to you? By reading through your wiki pages we've learned that you are interested in issues such as fighting illiteracy among street children and helping to improve the living conditions of the elderly in your communities. What are the other issues that are most greatly affecting your communities?
